A member of WSU’s two-time national rugby championship team, Carly MacKinnon knows that accomplishing her goals requires focus and endurance—and a little support from the Cougar family. Donor funded scholarships are essential. There are many stories of students who would have had to forego their college educations had it not been for the generosity of donors and the scholarships they received. Ashley Nilson lived one of those stories.

A senior from Spokane Valley studying neuroscience with minors in chemistry and Spanish, Ashley is a recipient of the Senior Scholarship Fund.  This generosity is what is allowing her to continue her education at WSU.
