WSU Foundation Advocates and Advocate Ambassadors

WSU Foundation Advocates and Ambassadors are volunteers for the WSU Foundation, in support of WSU and its philanthropic goals. Advocates and Ambassadors have unique relationships and experiences that complement and support the WSU Foundation’s efforts to engage more supporters of WSU’s land-grant mission. Volunteers will have the option to serve in a role that fits their time and talents.

A description of the roles and responsibilities of the WSU Foundation Advocate and Advocate Ambassador can be accessed here.

Advocates and Ambassadors possess the ability to:

  • Engage with WSU Foundation staff and fellow Advocates to share the story of WSU, connect potential donors with development staff, and assist fundraising efforts as needed.
  • Commit to the President’s Associates giving level on an annual basis.
  • Attend Fall and/or Spring Annual Meetings.

The WSU Foundation seeks volunteers who represent diversity in age, gender, ethnicity, WSU degree, geographic location, occupation, and area of support to WSU. Please consider nominating individuals who bring a variety of personal and professional experiences to the WSU Foundation volunteer experience.
