Pullman ASWSU Student Memorial Brick Plaza

In 2018, after several WSU students lost their lives returning from winter break, the Associated Students of Washington State University (ASWSU) decided to create a dedicated space to honor students who passed away while enrolled at WSU. The plaza has bench in memory of the students that inspired the space and engraved bricks honor other students over the years whose lives were cut short.

This peaceful space is located on the WSU Pullman campus between Terrell Library and Smith Gym.

Memorial bricks are available in two sizes:

  • An 8” wide x 4” high rectangular brick allows for three lines of text with 20 characters per line, including spaces. The donation amount for this size brick is $275.
  • An 8” x 8” square brick allows for 6 lines of text with 20 characters per line, including spaces. The donation amount for this size brick is $525.

Go to http://gocougs.wsufoundation.wsu.edu/memorialplaza to fill out the request form. Once completed you will be sent a confirmation email with a link to make your donation. Both the request form and the donation must be completed for the brick to be ordered and installed.

Timeline:
It takes roughly three months to request, design, proof, order, and install a brick. Due to weather in Pullman, the installation window is typically April through October. We appreciate your patience through the process.
