Please consider a gift to support WSU’s College of Arts & Sciences priorities below:

Dean’s Excellence Fund, Liberal Arts

A flexible fund that supports the highest priorities of the college. Donations to the Dean’s Excellence Fund have been used to support student and faculty travel to national meetings and competitions. The fund also provides for visiting lectures and performances, student and faculty research opportunities, and student service learning opportunities, which integrate meaningful community service with instruction to enrich the learning experience. Support to this fund also allows the college to sponsor unique or newly arising opportunities.

World Class Fund, Sciences

The College of Sciences World Class Fund addresses our greatest needs and is crucial to meeting the increased expectations of science education. In addition to scholarships and fellowships, the World Class Fund provides undergraduates with research opportunities in the laboratories of prominent faculty. For faculty, the fund provides support to upgrade equipment and technology. It is also used to create professorships and to cover associated startup and team building costs. The World Class Fund allows the college to maintain its position of leadership among peer research institutions.

Liberal Arts Scholarship Fund

Provides scholarships to liberal arts students with financial need, to help ensure their commitment to studies at WSU. May also be used for scholarships to recruit or retain top students.

Scholarship for the Promotion of Diversity, Sciences

As research and academics becomes increasingly global and diverse, it is important that the college has the ability to recruit and retain high-achieving students from diverse backgrounds. To this end, the College of Sciences Scholarship for the Promotion of Diversity provides the needed funding to accomplish this goal.
