The Office of International Programs is a catalyst for the WSU global community to grow and prosper in an increasingly complex and interconnected world.
Your support enables international students to thrive while at WSU. It also encourages WSU students to study abroad and broaden their horizon as global citizens.
Support International Programs
International Student Aid Fund
The impact of COVID 19 – job loss, travel restrictions, and other challenges – has created hardship for many of our international students. We ask the Coug family to come together and support the International Student Aid Fund. This fund will provide direct payments for housing, food, medical care, and other necessities on behalf of our international Cougs who need our help, now more than ever.*
*Scholarship athletes and WSU employees may not be eligible for support from this fund.
International Cougar Program
A gift to the international Cougar Program enables WSU leaders to act strategically when opportunities or challenges arise. This could mean attracting world-class faculty from around the world, creating or supplementing creative programs with a global emphasis, or providing scholarship and fellowship support for students and faculty.
International Program Scholarship Fund
This scholarship is available to students from foreign countries for travel to WSU for their studies, and to regularly enrolled WSU students for foreign travel for study purposes.
WSU Education Abroad Endowment
WSU donors Victoria, Patrick, and Daniel Barney established this scholarship endowment in memory of their daughter and sister, Ann Barney, who died while planning her junior year abroad. The Barneys endowed this fund to honor Ann’s memory, and to create a sustainable source of scholarship funding for education abroad.
Intensive American Language Center Scholarship
This endowment was created in memory of a student from Thailand who died while attending WSU. It is open to students attending the Intensive American Language Center (IALC). Successful completion of the IALC program enables students to enroll in their academic program of choice at WSU.
