Cougar Coloring Contest

Contest Rules: 

  • Open to kids and adults of all ages.
    • Entrants will be judged in the following age categories
      • 5 and under
      • 6-12
      • 13-17
      • 18 and over
  • Download and print one of the provided coloring sheets below, and color it in however you’d like.
    • To download, click on the desired photo, and then right-click and select “Save image as…”
  • When complete, post a picture of your colored in sheet on either Facebook or Twitter, tell us the first name and last initial of the entrant and their age category, and use the hashtag #CougarColoringContest (make sure your posts are public!).
  • Entries must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on May 5, 2020 (subject to change).
  • All entries will be compiled in photo albums on the WSU Foundation Facebook page.
  • Entries will be judged by a panel of celebrity judges, including
    • Denise Echelbarger, Creative Director and Brand Manager, WSU Health Sciences Spokane
    • Jen Greeny, WSU Volleyball Head Coach
    • Dave Hoyt, WSU Foundation Art Director
    • Brooke Olzendam, WSU alum and Sports Reporter for the Portland Trail Blazers
    • Todd Shulenberger, WSU Soccer Head Coach
    • Jane Yung, WSU Alumni Association President
  • Additionally, there will be a People’s Choice Award in each age category. This will be the photo that receives the most “likes” on the WSU Foundation Facebook page (aside from the Judge’s Choice) in each age group. The People’s Choice voting will end at 11:59 p.m. on May 7, 2020, and the winners will be announced on May 8, 2020 on the WSU Foundation Facebook and Twitter.
  • One entry per person.
  • Winners will be contacted by direct message (for social media entries) or email (for email entries). The winner of each age group will get a special Cougar prize package from the WSU Alumni Association, WSU Athletics, and the WSU Foundation mailed to their home!
