WSU CougParents Program

As a parent of a Washington State University student, you are proudly wearing the WSU Mom sweatshirt, purchased the Cougar Dad coffee mug, and driving around with a new Cougar license plate.  Now what?

The WSU CougParents Program, administered through the WSU Foundation, is dedicated to keeping you connected with your student throughout his or her undergraduate career.  By getting involved in CougParents you will remain actively involved in your student’s educational experience, and become engaged in the WSU community. In addition, you have the opportunity to make an even greater impact in the experiences of all WSU students through the CougParents Advisory Board.

The CougParents Advisory Board

The CougParents Advisory Board is a team of parents dedicated to the growth and success of the CougParents Program and Parent’s Program Fund. As parents, Board members share a unique perspective on the student experience. Members allocate financial support to student groups and organizations that enrich student life on campus through the Parent’s Program Fund. Members also work to inspire additional parent involvement and participate in advancing Washington State University as a world-class institution.

The Parent’s Program Fund

A student’s WSU experience is shaped by so much more than the tuition paid every year.  WSU depends on private gifts from alumni, parents, and friends to continue to provide an excellent undergraduate education. When you give to the Parent’s Fund, you are supporting and enhancing that experience for all WSU students. The Parent’s Fund supports numerous student programs and organizations that enrich the lives of WSU students. It also covers publication costs of Message to the Parents and pays for parents to receive the November issue of Washington State Magazine .

We encourage you to consider WSU and the CougParents Program among your philanthropic priorities. Your gifts truly make a difference in the experiences of so many students. You can securely make a gift online today!
