President's Associates
For more than 31 years, the President's Associates program has been a cornerstone of quality and excellence at Washington State University. These loyal donors provide the annual support the University needs for scholarships, academic programs, and research.
Recent Graduate President's Associates
Recent Graduates set an example of service for fellow alumni through their annual philanthropy. Each Recent Graduate President’s Associate directs their gift to support what they love while enhancing the WSU experience for Cougs following in their footsteps.
Cougar Colleagues—Faculty/Staff Campaign
WSU faculty and staff are encouraged to contribute to the areas of WSU that mean most to them. Many faculty and staff choose to give throughout the year and their generosity positively impacts the University and counts toward annual gift participation.

The PAWS Program is a great way for students to get involved and educate the WSU student body about the importance of private support to WSU. The students involved with PAWS will gain real world experience while creating a larger and more philanthropic minded community of future WSU supporters.

Big Ideas to Transform WSU
Leo Millam:
Undergraduate research scholarship, engineering and sciences
Leo Millam remembered well the financial challenges he faced while attending WSU (then WSC) in the late 1920s and early '30s.
He washed dishes most of his college years, and even took out a loan to cover expenses during his senior year. Because of his experiences, Leo resolved to help future generations of Cougars.
The results of Leo's commitment are evident today. Now deceased, he made a $400,000 gift to WSU through his estate to help undergraduates studying engineering and science develop their research skills. The gift funds an annual research poster competition, which celebrates and rewards the quality of undergraduate research.
Leo Millam taught high school chemistry in Cle Elum, Washington, for many years.
